Himanta issues shoot-at-sight orders

उन्होंने कहा, "जिले में रैपिड एक्शन फोर्स (आरएएफ) और सीआरपीएफ के जवानों को तैनात किया जाएगा। मैंने एसपी से धुबरी में उन सभी अपराधियों को गिरफ्तार करने को कहा है, जिनके खिलाफ गैर-जमानती वारंट हैं।"
सीएम ने शहर में अशांति को "बाहरी तत्वों" से भी जोड़ा। मुस्लिम बहुल धुबरी जिला बांग्लादेश के साथ राज्य की सीमा पर स्थित है।
सरमा ने कहा, "ईद से एक दिन पहले, 'नबीन बांग्ला' नामक एक समूह ने धुबरी को बांग्लादेश में शामिल करने के लिए पोस्टर लगाए। इसका मतलब है कि धुबरी में अशांति पैदा करने के लिए एक सांप्रदायिक समूह सक्रिय हो गया है।"
उन्होंने कहा कि कानून को अपने हाथ में लेने वाले सभी लोगों से सख्ती से निपटा जाएगा।
सरमा ने आरोप लगाया, "इससे पहले बकरीद के दौरान लोगों का एक वर्ग गोमांस खाता था, लेकिन इस बार पश्चिम बंगाल से हजारों मवेशी लाए गए हैं और धुबरी में एक 'नया गोमांस माफिया' उभरा है, जिसने त्योहार से ठीक पहले हजारों जानवरों की खरीद की है।
" उन्होंने कहा, "मैंने इसकी जांच के आदेश दिए हैं।
मैंने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिया है कि वे इस मवेशी व्यापार को शुरू करने वालों को गिरफ्तार करें।
" उन्होंने कहा कि अगले साल वह खुद ईद के दिन धुबरी आएंगे और अगले दिन भी यहीं रहेंगे।
सरमा ने कहा, "हम समुदाय के एक वर्ग को इस तरह की गड़बड़ी करने की अनुमति नहीं दे सकते।
हमारी सरकार इसे बर्दाश्त नहीं करेगी।
" शुक्रवार को धुबरी पुलिस ने कहा कि शहर में अशांति के सिलसिले में अब तक 22 लोगों को गिरफ्तार
किया गया है।

The tension in the town bordering Bangladesh began on Sunday, the day after Eid, with the discovery of a cattle head near the Hanuman temple.
On Monday, tensions escalated with protests and stone-pelting and police used tear gas to disperse the crowd and bring the situation under control.
The district administration had also issued prohibitory orders on Monday and shops and markets remained closed.
The prohibitory orders were withdrawn on Tuesday with District Collector Dibakar Nath saying that the situation was under control.
